Dr. Steven Chang received his undergraduate degree in Physiological Sciences from University of California - Los Angeles. Following this, he completed his optometric education at the University of California - Berkeley and his residency at State University of New York - College of Optometry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, member of the American Optometric Association, and clinical investigator for the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group.
After completing his residency, Dr. Chang joined the Vision Center at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, working alongside ophthalmologists, examining and caring for children with high acuity diseases and special needs.
He joined the University faculty in 2022, where he currently serves as a clinical attending for fourth year students at the University Eye Center in Los Angeles. He is involved in various research projects and teaching as well.
