The Stein Family Cornea and Contact Lens Center at the University Eye Center at Ketchum Health is recognized as a leader in the region.

Our Service accepts referrals and specializes in the complete diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative care associated with contact lenses.

At the Stein Family Cornea & Contact Lens Center, we offer the latest standard and custom contact lenses.

With a nationally recognized clinical faculty and an in-depth knowledge of a multitude of contact lens designs, we are confident that we can provide you with contact lenses to suit your individual lifestyle and needs.

In addition to standard contact lenses, we offer:

  • Multifocal Contact Lenses

Multifocal contact lenses may be a wonderful, freeing option for you. Recent advances in contact lens designs have allowed wearers to drive, work on the computer and read without the need for glasses.

  • Corneal Reshaping

Patients who have corneal reshaping wear their contact lenses at night while sleeping and generally do not require any vision correction during the day. Corneal reshaping can give freedom from glasses or contact lens wear for active adults and children.

  • Keratoconus

If you have Keratoconus, your eyes may become more irregular in shape and glasses and soft contact lenses may no longer be able to provide acceptable vision. As a result, custom fitted gas permeable contact lenses may be necessary to achieve optimal vision.

  • Pediatric Contact Lenses

There is almost no minimum age for contact lens wear. At the Pediatric Contact Lens Service at the University Eye Center at Ketchum Health we have fitted children and infants for eye conditions that would normally require them to wear thick, bulky eyeglasses. From our experience, infants and children adapt superbly well to contact lens wear.

  • Specialty Contact Lenses

Eye injury, disease, infection or surgery can leave the eye surface irregular. Custom gas permeable lenses can help in a way that glasses and soft contact lenses cannot. Our Doctors are trained to utilize the most advanced contact lens designs and materials to maximize vision, comfort, and eye health.
