The Studt Center for Vision Therapy is a specialty service located within the University Eye Center at Ketchum Health. It is recognized as a regional referral center for children and adults with a variety of vision problems that are not treatable with glasses, contacts or surgery.
Vision Therapy is similar to physical therapy. While physical therapy is focused on rehabilitation of the body, vision therapy is focused on development and rehabilitation of visual skills required for reading, learning and other activities of daily living.
While a referral is not required to be seen in our service, we receive referrals from professionals throughout the Orange County
|and Los Angeles areas, including optometrists, physicians, psychologists, educators, and rehabilitation professionals for comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for:|
- Eye Tracking, Eye Focusing and Eye Coordination Disorders (Binocular Vision Evaluation)
- Strabismus (Eye Turns) and Amblyopia (Lazy Eye) (Strabismus/Amblyopia Evaluation)
- Learning-Related Vision Problems (Visual Information Processing Evaluation)
